After their successful Irish folk band Cloggy Dew broke up, singer/guitarist Derrick Rake and box player Barefoot Johnny teamed up with drummer Sam Bruijs to form Raglan Roadworks. What they play is energetic, not-quite-traditional, upbeat Irish folk, packed with plenty of fun and audience participation. Although the occasional sentimental ballad will be heard, the audience will not miss out on their favorite drinking songs! Raglan Roadworks plays folk music that packs a punch, and it will be hard to sit still, so try not to spill your Guinness!
