jou. Je bent dus welkom om te spelen, te genieten of gewoon weer eens
een ouderwets speciaal biertje van de tap te drinken. Deze jazzjams
worden georganiseerd door de nestor van het Nijmeegse jazz-jam-leven
Wiro Mahieu.

Introducing 2 young musicians studying at ArtEZ Arnhem:
Sina Doering started drumming in 2009 when she was 10 years old. In 2013, she started a YouTube channel called 'Sina-Drums' that has more than 1.3 million subscribers today. After graduating high school in Germany, she got a diploma at Drummers Institute in Krefeld whilst
playing live with her hardrockband The Gäs until Covid ended live gigs. In 2018, Sina was also invited to perform Live with Donovan on German television and she committed to do all upcoming symphonic rockshows for Rock The Opera in 2022. Right now, Sina is studying Jazz and
Pop drums at ArtEZ in Arnhem.
Marius Holland - piano born in 1997 from Germany is a Jazz/Pop pianist, singer and composer. Like probably a bunch of other people he started playing the piano at the age of 9. Because of that Marius Holland has a very energetic style of playing the piano which led him to play concerts with Julian Wasserfuhr, Thilo Wolf, Wayne Escoffery, Markus Schieferdecker, Victor Gould and Michel Pilz at the University Big Band Bamberg.
At the age of 16 he played in a Trio setting (voc, piano) on the Tucher Blues and Jazz Festival as one of the youngest bands to ever play there.
He played a tour (Germany and Poland) with his pop band Mic Mali and also released an album (“Gold”) in 2019 with them.
In 2020 he released the album Cosa Nova with Skyline Green. A Ska, Latin, Reggae and Balkan album with which he also played on several festivals in Germany.
His academic career stared when he was accepted at the Berufsfachschule für Musik Musication Nürnberg where he studied with Michael Flügel, Norbert Emminger and Christoph Huber.
After he graduated at Musication he started studying at ArtEZ in Arnhem with Robert-Jan Vermeulen, Jeroen van Vliet and Michiel Braam.
